First 10 minutes

When you start a new company, pick Relaxed difficulty (no traffic events, few penalties) and Sandbox mode if you just want to drive with unlimited money (official FAQ). You can skip the tutorial (DualShockers). The October 19, 2026 update turned turn-signal penalties off by default (official changelog), which DualShockers had found frustrating. Nobody on our team has played the opening yet.

Good to know: This is the newest edition (released September 8, 2026). It's new and still being patched: DualShockers said it felt like 'an early access title' at launch because of penalty glitches and traffic AI, and the official changelog lists many fixes since. Paid add-ons: Season Pass, Deluxe and Year 1 editions (PlayStation Store). Platform differences: PC, PS5 and Xbox Series only, with crossplay co-op (official FAQ). Xbox Series S and Steam Deck can join but not host co-op (official FAQ). On PC, mods can be installed through mod.io; key bindings can be changed for gamepad, keyboard and steering wheels (official FAQ). The ESRB 'E' is from the PlayStation Store listing; we didn't find a record in the ESRB's own search.

Sensory scale

Each item is scored from 0 to 3: 0 = None; 1 = Mild, or can be turned off; 2 = Frequent; 3 = Intense and can’t be avoided. “Not enough info yet” means we couldn’t find good evidence, so we didn’t guess. For “Ease of stopping”, a higher score means it’s harder to stop.
